After all i been threw being homeless i live to be a part of history
to live to see a black president and a white women nominated what's the mystery
it seems like god has a plan for people to come together and be at peace
and know we all live and we all die so why the racism doesn't cease
still it matters what color , religion and what creed you are
things matter today whether you work or find a place to live so who's scared
i believe we as a human race teach our children what to believe in and how
i believe if we don’t show our children love with understanding we dead now
all lives matter knowing that all lives end, life being so short what is the fight
let people be blessed in who they are rich or poor just give respect that's right
so whether you support the homeless or not
pray it won’t be you someday
