To be called a friend is sometimes very hard to be
To be a friend is a honor with many responsibilities
To have a friend is someone you can depend on
To have a friend with you when all hope is gone
Being human beings we all fall short of God’s grace
Being human plus a friend can be a difficult race
Due to difficult circumstances in every persons life
To put trust and faith in someone can be only strife
So for me I keep the faith and never forget to pray
As I sing that old hymn what a friend we have in Jesus
Each and every day!!
